Frequently Asked Questions

How much will cost me to sponsor a foreign worker?

Our fees amount per candidate is $850, payable after the interview and selection process for the foreign worker. Additionally, there is a fee of $230 per candidate payable to Canadian Immigration. Please note that these fees are non-refundable.

Should I provide homestay and pay for tickets and travel expenses?

Under this Immigration program, you do not have to pay for any of those.

What kind of documents should I provide to Immigration Canada?

None. This is one of the advantages of this program. However, Immigration Canada may contact you and request additional information at any time.

What kind of work permit will the candidate get?

The candidate will receive a closed work permit, meaning they are qualified to work exclusively for your organization.

Can I sponsor any kind of employee?

Under this program, you can only sponsor professionals listed in our OCCUPATION LIST found in the main menu. If you wish to sponsor a worker not listed, we can find a candidate with a CLB 5 proficiency in French to utilize the French Mobility program for employers. This pathway offers a straightforward method to bring in foreign workers. Notably, it's the easiest, fastest, and most cost-effective way to sponsor foreign workers. With the French Mobility program, you can hire candidates for any position you need, regardless of whether the position requires proficiency in French. Our Immigration Partner will provide guidance on this and other available options.

Should I demonstrate that I was looking for candidates within Canada?

No, under this program, it's not necessary to demonstrate efforts to recruit Canadians. Unlike recruiting foreign workers with an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment), which requires demonstrating efforts to recruit Canadians, this is not a requirement under the Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
